BACK STORY

I've always been a person who people come up to when they’re in crisis to pour out their hearts and troubles to. Often it’s a complete stranger confessing their darkest secrets to me at—what was—a fun party, or it’s an acquaintance I barely know calling me at 2:00 am from the E.R. or police station. But mostly it’s just “I need some help and I need to talk to someone. Can I come over?” I don't know why, but people have always seen me as that person.

Over time, I realized I had a gift for seeing into people and reading what was going on behind what they were presenting.  I became skilled at locating the emotional and mental blocks that people had that were keeping them stuck in negative patterns and relationships. Eventually, people started paying me and recommending me to their family and friends, and I became a part-time pro. This has been a sideline that has followed me my whole life.

The people who came to me healed quickly and were able to turn their situations around faster than they thought possible. Mostly, this was because they were feeling better about themselves and liking themselves more. After working with so many people, and through my own personal healing journey, it became clear to me that every negative relationship we have within ourselves manifests itself as a negative relationship, or situation, outside of ourselves.  When we heal and correct these negative inner relationships, a lot of our problems get solved.

This was my inspiration for creating the ENABIMNIO   operating system, to help me—and my clients—heal and reset the conflicting relationships we create within ourselves. ENABIMNIO   works as a mental hygiene and emotional tune-up system that improves authentic expression and graceful social interaction, while removing the blocks that keep us from falling in love with ourselves and living the most beautiful life we can imagine.

After creating ENABIMNIO,  many of the negative thoughts and beliefs I had turned on a dime and released, never to return. But still…I had these same stubborn self-judgements and unhealthy behaviors that lingered and never went away. It was like nothing could ever touch them. No matter what healing modality or therapy I applied—even ENABIMNIO—they never resolved. They were always there, making my life miserable and sabotaging me just when I needed them to behave.

Since most of my clients sought me out seeking solutions for the same wounds and problems they had been dealing with for years, it started me thinking, “Why can we change some things about ourselves so easily, and some things never seem to shift and change?” Then I finally figured it out...it's denial. So I developed CREATION POINT HEALING   for those deep-rooted self-judements and negative behaviors that nothing else seems to touch.

CREATION POINT HEALING   is my method for getting out of denial and turning around the secret shadow beliefs that are creating in opposition to what we really want.  I'm currently working on turning this multi-staged process into a workshop, book, and app so that others may learn the process and become a CREATION POINT HEALING  practitioner too.  It's proving to be great at releasing stored emotional trauma, self-sabotage patterns, and negative addictions. I'm very excited about presenting this process to a wider audience soon.

After living my adult  life in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Taos, New Mexico, and Sedona, Arizona, I am currently back living in the American South where I was born and raised.  After graduating from University, I began my professional career in the entertainment industry, starting out in television and film production with a parallel track as an actor and singer in the theater and on the concert stage. I've worked in marketing and public relations, political consulting, gossip column ghost writer, celebrity publicist, choral conductor, acting coach, interior designer, landscaper, specialty painter, restaurant consultant, ran tech start-ups, and spent 2 years as the legal assistant and electronic surveillance consultant for a New York mob boss [he went to jail].  And through all that, I’ve had my sideline of helping people heal.

WHAT’S UP WITH THE NAME?

Years ago I had to change my name when I joined the Screen Actor’s Guild because my name was already taken. I went by Alex at the time and my friend, who I assigned the task of naming me, said to just drop the “A” and go by Lex. That was easy enough, but what about a last name? He decided that my name should be Lex Diamond (he was a Wu-Tang fan) but I said, “No way. I’m not going to be Lex Diamond.” So he tried out all sorts of other names and nothing seemed to fit.

After several months of this, I was at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon where I had stopped off for lunch after a week-long meditation retreat in Idaho. I was standing atop a rock on the edge of the canyon at Bright Angel Point and I started making echos against the canyon walls. I then stupidly aimed my voice in the direction of an electrical storm that was brewing out in the canyon [don't do this], and the storm answered me back. As my voice echoed back to me, I could feel there was some extra energy trailing behind it. It felt like a tidal wave was rolling straight toward me and I knew I was in trouble. Just as I turned to get down off the rock, I felt the top of my head open and —CRACK!—all I could see was hot white blinding light and it looked like I was on the inside of a beautifully fractured quartz crystal. Pulsating waves of sound and rippling G-force pressed down on my body as the loudest thunderclap I will ever hear pounded me to the ground.

Yes, It hurt. No, I didn't die, and luckily, I was not even seriously injured. I was standing by a U.S. Geological survey marker that had a metal pipe hammered into the rock right beside it. My friend, who watched it happen, said she saw the lightning go through me, out of my leg and into the pipe. That pipe saved my life because it grounded the current and I was able to walk away with just a lot of smelly burnt hair, burns down the right side of my body, and some extra powers.

I didn't tell anyone about what happened because I found it all so embarrassing. About three weeks later, the first person I told about it was my naming friend, who lately had been calling me Lex Dumpling and Lex Logsplitter, among others I can't type. Once he got over the shock of the story, he looked at me and said, "Well... you know what this means don't you? Your name is Lex Lightning now." And we both fell on the floor laughing because the name was so stupid and goofy that we knew he was never going to call me anything else from then on. I was branded for life.

The moral of my story is to never be the tallest thing near an electrical storm and sing into it while you're standing next to a metal pipe in the ground. Don't make the same mistake I did. Unless you want the extra powers.
